the twins come calling

just about a month ago, I posted a photo of a new born fawn asleep in the new mint field, we could see his mother and tiny twin not far away.
just this past week, the twin's, now having grown quite alot and feeling quite bold now-
and with momma just out of sight busily eating the grass in the field next to my house,
came strolling into my garden from the poplar grove.
One is quite brave and the smaller is timid.... they are both about as big as a small dog with long long legs.... today they've been eating raspberries and they have found the newly weeded vegetable garden. a perfect reason to not weed.

Hello Christine- I found your blog through Ulla (I'm listed right below you!) Your posts are beautiful- I just spent the last half hour reading your thoughtful words. I was very moved by your story of your son's friend. I read the article you linked. So very sad.
On a brighter note, your photos are dreamy! And I see you have donated a doll for the Angels for Brianna Auction. I just wanted to say that you seem like a very nice person and I will come back to visit. I am going to link you under my "Queens of the Dollmakers". I'm happy to have found your blog!!

Hello Christine. What a lovely picture. So sorry it's been so long since my last visit...so very busy lately with my art, gardens and taking care of our home and family. We too have such lovely happens & visitors around our little farm..... A tiny bunny that is very much enjoying our garden and pumpkin patch, deer stop by often and seem to be getting braver every day.....only yesterday morning one came up the bottom of the driveway.....sauntered through the yard and up into our woods..i was standing on the front porch...she stood and look at me a moment...and then went about her business...she seemed to know i would do her no harm.

Thank you for sharing the precious twins.

God Bless
