snug inside my little farm house ~
I have a lot that I want to do while chilly January days are slow and quiet here on our farm.
One thing is to play with my house and the little house where I make my dollies... both "she's" are asking for something different and I'm ready. I can't wait to see what's on their minds. ~~~ I hope that you are all keeping snug and letting love and laughter be just what the doctor ordered.
What are you doing this quiet January?

Oh goodness, these photos are just gorgeous and capture the peace and beauty of a winter's day. I can imagine you snug in your little house sewing dollies while it snows outside! We've yet to have any snow... I'm hoping to learn to embroider this winter. And tomorrow is little girl's school day so I'm anxiously awaiting some painting time....

and isn't it so funny that a quail would rather wade through drifts than fly a bit? I keep coming back to look at that picture of your banner...besides being a really wonderful composition, it must also draw me in because it is my home, too :)

Your parlour looks so peaceful and serene dear as I knew it would.
Now that a new year is upon us(and the very best wishes for a wonderful 2011) we seem to take heed of things we'd like to change.
One thing I would never want to change is visiting the gifted creator of those lovely little dollies...

Christe"--

How beautiful....and you captured it so well.

We have the rain today but it does make me want to nestle in and "play house", and browse through my old magazines, or read that book I've been trying to get to.

....and thinking nice thoughts about you and the ladyes....

I agree with previous comments. Your new banner is fabulous and the winter photos are so peaceful and contemplative. This is just how this hushed, frosted season always makes me feel and you capture it so well.

I'm trying to enjoy my indoor projects before the garden wakes up and lures me out. But feeding the sheep twice a day is really a gift. I'm outdoors at sunrise and sunset and there's always something to marvel at.

Projects? I'm all about knittng two-color Norwegian mittens lately. Glad my first pair is done as it's getting colder!

Best to you-

Happy New Year Christine,
Oh what stunning views (It makes me think of Wren looking out her window at all the snow ;-) it must make you want to create something magical. Sadly we have had no snow, see one more reason for me to be your neighbor !!!

OH how I wish to be snowed in. I love my girls but them being older now, it seems like I am always running some place. I long for the days puttering at home. I get it but not as much as I would like. I am getting a little witting in. I will be t Angie’s today, love you xooxx Clarice
