wheat harvest

Just about 90 acres of wheat left to harvest now....
then our garlic...then another cutting of mint for tea...and then...
the coriander for seed...
~~~
Our grandchildren, Ethan and Emma, along with their Dad made a little time-lapse video of some of our wheat harvest which they all helped with this last weekend...
yep..we love it here....
(turn up your volume)...Enjoy!
Hello Christine...I wasn't able to see this video as it said there were privacy settings. It all looks very beautiful...we are getting ready for Spring here Down Under, the daylight is becoming more and more...Happy Harvesting!!!
It is beautiful.. the rolling fields of taupe, ecru and shades of harvest.
I must get a copy of the newest Simple Life as I enjoyed the first one very much.
Hope all is well at Deerfield Farmhouse and the dollies are behaving themselves...
Deare Christe'--My copy of The Simple Life is here and I just read your story about the "Dear Old House"--you really did paint a word picture. I'm thinking it is the Dufur house you love so much.
Makes me want to go out and purchase a blue-gray pumpkin.....
another success...
Great video! Love seeing the land and the harvesting of the wheat :) it must be so satisfying to see the crops go from seed to harvest.
Hope you're having a beautiful summer!~
