hearts a flutter

a small watercolor painted for me by my daughter,Katie
~~~
she wrote her heart in sepia script
with small and delicate letters.
with written words that she longed kept
and did not dare to utter.
then safe she sealed it with crimson wax and sent
her heart
...a flutter
Thank you, dear ladies.
I think my Katie does beautiful work with everything she puts her hand to.
I'm afraid the ladye isn't me, but a ladye from the early 1800's with a tiny love letter in hand.
Thank you, dear Angela, for your compliments about our beautiful Christmas snow. It was beautiful while it lasted. Now we've had frozen fog and 24 degrees for 5 days now~and spring is coming...until then we have tulips blooming in pots.
I agree with sweet Cathy Louise, your Katie does beautiful work. This is no surprise, though, as she is yours and raised with a mama who is filled with joy and creativity.
