a gentle heart

" Methinks it is a token of healthy and gentle characteristics,
when women of high thought and accomplishment love to sew....
especially as they are never more at home with their own hearts

while so occupied....

I just love this thought by Hawthorne, and it is timely. I was just thinking about how much at "home" I feel with myself when I am doing handwork. I feel so at ease. And your picture is WONDERFUL. I'd love to own a shop with windows like that in it. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Christe', you are away as I write this. I know you are having a wonderful time. I can not wait to hear about your trip, but I just had to tell you how much I love this photo. I saved it. You are getting awfully good at taking photo you know.
