our sunday

warm sun,
soft and fragrant air,
royal anne cherry
clouds of spectacular bloom,
frogs content in the pond,
hens asleep under the old lilac,
a double white narcissus between them,
a tiny pansy
blooming by the old gate
balm for a winter weary soul

Christine! I was happy to see you the other day in Artful Blogging. The layout was gorgeous, and I loved seeing all your dolls-- your work is simply amazing! All your girls seem to have souls and stories, they are such treasures!

The weather here has been picture perfect (except we could use some rain)...Cool brisk nights with the stars and the moon in the sky so clear you feel as if you could touch them... The days are warm and sunny in an autumn way... Your beautiful writing always makes me want to visit you in your beautiful home and surroundings... one day my friend...

Christine,

I am utterly enchanted with your blog and your fabulous writing! I sat up all night with my daughter's lap top enthralled with everything about your life! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful creativity. And the stories about your dolls...mesmerizing! A Mother's Prayer for Peace, I could feel my son's arm around my shoulders too.

Happy Mothers Day to you Sweet Soul Sister!

Once again, thank you for the lovliness that is Deerfield Farm.

I went all over town today, looking for the magazine with your story in it and finally found it! It is lovely, Christine and made my day.

Best wishes to you!
