mothers day

I keep this picture in my purse.
it has lived in every purse I have had for 28 years.
the little people here are my children.
my son, 2 years old and my daughter is 5 years old,
and the way you see them here...their bright and shiny spirits...
is how they are today.
oh, yes, they may be a little taller...
still, the same bright shiny little faces.
they have so much love for each other
and for those around them.
when they were very small, it was just the 3 of us
for quite sometime.
they saved my life every day.
without them life would have been a vast open sea
without land in sight.
it has been a glorious garden with them in it.

  5. And your garden has been bursting forth with blooms ever since. The grandbabies, in-laws and alas the love that opened the garden gate, have filled it to the brim with joy!

  6. Hi Christine:

You don't know me but I'm a great admirer of your work and have visited your website and blog many times. I would be honored if you would pay a visit to me one day.

  7. How very sweet -- it reminds me of the picture I always tuck in my husbands pocket of our son before he deploys with the military. I usually do the packing, so I make sure it goes along with him for him to find. Thanks for sharing!

    Hugs,

  8. If anyone can understand about their children saving them each day it is me! With bad depression and many years of hating my life and life in general wondering why I would even wake up. I so understand about being saved by them. I have 3 and they keep me going and lift me up and keep me laughing...
I only started liking myself recently enough to try to enjoy life and since I am 57 I have lost out on alot not to mention I have left a trail of unhappy moments and hard feelings I am trying hard now to make good!!! My Children are ALL the family I have! I wish I'd had more!!!

I so love to see your Dolls and other treasures you make.. Thank you.
